We welcome back live comedy to The Capitol Theatre as award-winning comedian and songwriter Tamar Broadbent takes to the stage with her latest and greatest collection of comedy songs.
As heard on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and Sketchtopia and as seen on Comedy Central Online’s Ones to Watch, Tamar takes you through the madness of the modern world with her catchy, funny story songs about single life in your twenties. From ambition to avocados, Instagram antics to the hangover blues, from dodging hipsters to desperately trying to keep body hair under control... Tamar leaves few subjects left unsung in this jam-packed night of musical joy. Tamar has toured the world with her solo musical comedy shows, being nominated for Best Comedy at Fringeworld Australia and making her New York debut in December to rave reviews.
Featuring some bonus, Coronavirus-inspired songs that tackle the realities of staying away from your grandparents and overdoing it on the day sex, this socially-distanced comedy night will definitely be one to remember!
KEEPING YOU SAFE WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING
- Customers will be asked to observe social distancing at all times. This will be monitored by venue staff.
- Groups of Friends/Family wishing to attend together will be expected to socially distance. Individuals should not be sat directly next to anyone who is not within the same household or social bubble.
- If you wish to make a booking for 3+ seats together, please contact our Box Office directly on 01403 750220 and our friendly staff will be able to allocate seats for you. Our Box Office will open Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 8pm, Saturday 12.30pm to 8pm and Sunday 12.30pm to 5pm.
- All customers entering the venue will be required to provide their full name and contact details as part of the Test and Trace programme. This is to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff.
