Everyone's favourite childhood book character is making a welcome return to the screen, with a new film version of Matilda the Musical set to premiere in cinemas this Winter.

A story about a precocious child who harnesses the power of telekinesis in order to get one over her cruel family and unscrupulous school teacher, Roald Dahl's Matilda was previously adapted for the big screen in 1996, with Pam Ferris playing Miss Trunchbull and Mara Wilson starring as the titular character.
