Based on a true story, Father Stu is a raw and honest drama starring Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson that followers the life of Father Stuart Long, a boxer-turned-priest who inspired countless people during his journey from self-destruction to redemption.

After surviving a motorcycle accident, Father Stu starts to wonder if he can use his second chance to help others, leading to the surprising realisation that he’s meant to be a Catholic priest. Despite a devastating health crisis and the scepticism of Church officials and his estranged parents, Stu pursues his vocation with courage and compassion, inspiring not only those closes to him but many others along the way.

Written for the screen and directed by Rosalind Ross and also starring Jacki Weaver and Teresa Ruiz, this is an unflinchingly funny and uplifting drama about a lost soul who finds his purpose in the most unexpected place.
