 The enchanting classic love story, Beauty and The Beast, is set to captivate you this December.  

With a bespoke set crafted in-house by The Capitol's talented team, our production boasts special effects, whimsical costumes and lots of surprises.

Directed by Julie Atherton, this family-friendly show promises to be the ultimate treat for audiences of all ages.

Get ready to be swept away by this timeless tale of love, transformation and courage, brought to life by our incredible cast.

John Partridge as Captain Gastoff

Actor, dancer, singer and presenter, John Partridge, takes on the role of Captain Gastoff. Widely recognized for his compelling performances, John has graced both screen and stage as Christian Clarke in BBC’s EastEnders and Rum Tum Tugger in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats.

More recently he has been seen as Julius Caesar in the captivating Netflix series Cleopatra, Augustus in the audio drama Vergil and is currently playing Hugo/Loco Chanelle in the UK Tour of Everybody's Talking About Jamie.

Lizzie Emery as Princess Belle

 Lizzie brings grace, charm and a modern twist to the beloved character of Princess Belle. Her talent and dedication promise to give Belle's journey a fresh perspective on stage.

Chris Jenkins - from Fearsome Beast to Noble Prince 

A West End star is all set for an enchanting performance.

James Camp as Fromage

Returning after his popular performance in Cinderella last year, James Camp, a graduate of the Guildford School of Acting and the National Youth Theatre, will dazzle as Fromage.

Justin Brett as Dame Susie Saucisson

Justin Brett, known for his comedic brilliance and stage presence, takes a break from the Showstopper! Tour to embody the larger-than-life character of Dame Susie Saucisson, ensuring an entertaining and hilarious experience for the audience.  

Mike Slader is poised as Pickle

Get ready for some heart-stealing and laughter-infusing moments on stage.

Alison Arnopp as Madame Dubonnet

Making a welcome return to The Capitol, Alison Arnopp takes on the role of Madame Dubonnet and is set to shine as a stand-out star in this year's show.
