AN IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE CAPITOL (2.11.20)
To our wonderful supporters.
In line with Government guidelines The Capitol will be temporarily closing its doors again from 10pm on Wednesday 4 November 2020.
Please be patient as we work hard towards finding solutions to the challenges we face. Customers who have tickets booked for an event which can no longer go ahead will be contacted in due course and refunds will be offered.
You can now book online for our Christmas shows and our system will allocate the best socially distanced seats available. Our theatre seating plan is shown below to assist you with your booking. Booking with us means booking with confidence, all customers will be offered a refund if a show can't go ahead as planned.
For a Show postponed to a later date:
• You will receive an email confirmation to confirm when a date change/refund has been processed.
• If you have not supplied an email address, you will receive a phone call to confirm.
• Refunds will be made to the credit/debit card with which you made your booking.
• Depending on your card provider, the refund could take up to 10 days to appear in your account
• If you paid with cash, then our Box Office will contact you to arrange a refund.

COVID19 SAFETY MEASURES (updated 18.11.20)
We have been granted the use of Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre's See It Safely mark. The mark certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences.
The following safety measures are in place at The Capitol:-
One way system, wherever possible
Socially distanced seating
Protective screens at counters
Staggered film times
E-ticketing system – simply show your e-tickets on your smartphone or give your name at the door
Additional cleaning throughout venue
Dedicated hand sanitising stations
Customers must wear face masks in the venue but they can be removed once sat inside the screen/auditorium to eat or drink.

Customers will be asked to observe social distancing at all times in all areas.
We ask customers to sit in seats allocated to them in the row, not others, as that affects our socially distanced auditorium and may impede other customers.
