We have various measures in place to ensure our customers have a safe visit and these are shown at the bottom of this page.

COVID19 SAFETY MEASURES (updated 18.11.20)

We have been granted the use of Society of London Theatre & UK Theatre's See It Safely mark. The mark certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences.

The following safety measures are in place at The Capitol:-

One way system, wherever possible

Socially distanced seating

Protective screens at counters

Staggered film times

E-ticketing system – simply show your e-tickets on your smartphone or give your name at the door

Contactless payments

Additional cleaning throughout venue

Dedicated hand sanitising stations

Customers must wear face masks in the venue but they can be removed once sat inside the screen/auditorium to eat or drink.

We request all customers to use the NHS Test and Trace system on arrival. Please use your smart phone to download the free NHS Covid-19 app ahead of your visit. To download the app: or for help downloading

Customers will be asked to observe social distancing at all times in all areas.

We ask customers to sit in seats allocated to them in the row, not others, as that affects our socially distanced auditorium and may impede other customers.
