WITH SIMON BRODKIN, KATE MARTIN, DINESH NATHAN & HOSTED BY CARLY SMALLMAN!
Headlined by Simon Brodkin – the most-watched British stand-up comedian on TikTok! Acclaimed character comedian and “the world’s most famous blagger” (The Daily Telegraph), Simon is now performing as himself and taking the UK stand-up scene by storm. He hit global headlines for his high-profile stunts, performed three critically-acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe shows and broke records on TikTok. In 2023, he performed to the British royal family on ITV 1 at the annual Royal Variety Performance.
Simon has been on tour in 2023 and 2024 with his latest show Screwed Up, which was extended three times due to extraordinary audience demand. Across 2024, he has sold out three headline shows at the Hammersmith Apollo. Dominic Maxwell (The Times) said “no show has made [him] laugh more than this one…“. Simon has taken this show on a 110 date international tour which included a run of European and US dates.
Simon has a huge social media following and is the most-watched British stand-up comedian on TikTok. His videos regularly go viral, with one stand-up routine about climate change getting more than 75 million views with this video. He has 2.5 million followers across various social channels.
Star of Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer (Channel 4) Simon hit global headlines multiple times for his high-profile stunts, including handing Theresa May a P45 during her speech at the Conservative Party Conference, showering disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter with bank notes, surrounding Donald Trump at the opening of his golf courses with 60 swastika-emblazoned golf balls, attaching a 25-foot sign to the side of Sir Philip Green’s superyacht, and going on Britain’s Got Talent as the ultra-orthodox Jewish rapper Steven Goldblatt – fooling Simon Cowell and the other judges to win four ‘yeses’.
Simon’s most famous character is “comedy legend” (The Sun) Lee Nelson, writing and starring in two series of BBC Three’s ratings smash Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show and the sketch series Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People, which introduced the nation to a plethora of brilliant characters.
Opening the show is the hilarious Kate Martin! At 6ft 1, with the longest wingspan in comedy (*probably), Kate’s a naturally engaging, energetic performer with effortlessly tight gags to match. Her unique background in mental health, going from double school drop out to Dr, and bravely embracing being the only northerner in her family have given her a fresh take on the world, a completely distinctive voice, and fuels her high energy storytelling, whip-smart punchlines and razor-sharp observations of life’s quirks through queer eyes.
Kate Martin is ‘brilliantly funny & energetic’ (Angela Barnes) and her ‘confident delivery and slick material’ (Chortle) have quickly established her as one of the most exciting acts on the circuit. Kate was a finalist of the Funny Women Stage Awards 2022 and runner-up in the finals of the WDCF New Comedian of the Year competition 2021.
Plus local comedian and viral internet sensation Dinesh Nathan! After winning several gong shows, Dinesh won South Coast Comedian Of The Year and was a finalist at the Komedia New Act competition and the coveted Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition.
In 2022 Dinesh appeared on BBC 3’s New Comedian of the Year Awards and Comedy Central Live. Dinesh has recently supported Tom Davis on his nationwide Underdog tour and has previously supported Tom Allen, Romesh Ranganathan, Kerry Godliman, Ellie Taylor, Suzi Ruffell & Fern Brady.
Dinesh is making waves on social media with his dry observations on life racking up millions of views.
Hosted by the brilliant Carly Smallman.
