Learn to improvise, gain confidence in performance, and have a laugh.
WHAT?
Often described as playtime for adults, improv is the art of collaboratively creating scenes, characters, and stories in the moment. In these friendly and supportive workshops, you will explore improvised comedy through a mix of scene-based improv and improv games, all while having plenty of fun.
Sessions combine playful exercises, longer scenework, and quick games inspired by shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway? You will build characters, discover relationships, and create entertaining scenes, alongside games that focus on clear structures, bold choices, and big laughs.
These are drop-in workshops, so there is no need to block book or commit to a course. Each session explores a different aspect of improv, making the workshops suitable for complete beginners and experienced improvisers alike.
WHO?
The class is open to anyone aged 17 and over, with no prior experience required. All participants will be required to follow the Dingbats Code of Conduct.
These sessions will be run by one of Dingbats Improv’s experienced improv coaches.
WHERE?
These sessions will take place in Park Barn directly opposite The Capitol (by the Bandstand)
