Headlining the show is the fantastic Seann Walsh! Described as “the best observational comedian of his generation” (The Guardian), this Edinburgh Award nominee has been touring Back From The Bed throughout 2023 and 2024. His previous tour show After This One, I’m Going Home ended with standing ovations around the country.
Seann has appeared on Live at the Apollo, The Wheel, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Last Leg, The Stand Up Sketch Show, Alan Davies’: As Yet Untitled, World’s Most Dangerous Roads, Battle In The Box and Series 22 of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, where he placed 5th. Seann can also be heard on his regular podcasts What’s Upset You Now, alongside co-host Paul McCaffrey and Oh My Dog, with Jack Dee, where they interview a special guest all about their relationships with their beloved dogs.
Seann’s stand-up specials Kiss and Seann Walsh is Dead, Happy Now are available to watch on his YouTube channel. In Kiss, Seann recounts living through the centre of a media storm in his distinctively shambolic, intense and energetic trademark style. Seann Walsh is Dead, Happy Now follows his life afterwards and amassed over 200,000 views in a matter of days after it was released.
Opening the show is Javier Jarquin! An extremely experienced and highly respected, multi-hyphenated performer. Having performed his critically acclaimed show Card Ninja in over 27 territories and with a new focus of building his reputation as a comedy circuit headline act, Javier has established himself as a masterful entertainer.
Javier was born in New Zealand to Latin-American/Chinese parents. He skilfully weaves his unique perspective into every performance and delivers sharply executed insights on life as an immigrant. In addition, Javier’s gag rate is off the scale; a witty quick-hitter with incredible writing and improv skills. His alias, The Card Ninja has been a smash hit at Fringe Festivals everywhere since 2010 and due to unprecedented demand, will be transferring to New York for a season in 2023. With a show bursting with mind-blowing tricks, incredible precision and theatrical virtuosity, as he pushes live performance to the absolute limit. A self-proclaimed geek, Javier is a big gamer and Marvel Universe fan and he brings these expertise to the stage with his comedy improv duo, The Just Us League. The perfect all-round entertainer with an abundance of skill, comedic flair and excessive likability, Javier is definitely one to watch.
With Harry Pettitt! Harry hails from the famous county of Essex and is rapidly rising through the comedy ranks. With a sharp wit and a flair for observational humour, Harry’s relatable storytelling resonates with audiences young and old. Harry is a geezer and an audience-pleaser.
