An atmospheric, coming-of-age love story steeped in eerie mystery and inspired by the gothic novel of the same name. Lara lives with her father and her strict governess, Miss Fontaine, in total isolation, and is struggling to find an outlet for her curiosity and burgeoning sexuality. When a carriage crash nearby brings a young woman into the family home to recuperate, Lara is enchanted by Carmilla. The pair strike up a passionate relationship, which strikes fear in the heart of Miss Fontaine, and a complex triangulate emerges between the three women.

Filmed on location in Plumpton and Lewes in East Sussex.

Customers will be asked to observe social distancing at all times. This will be monitored by venue staff.
Groups of Friends/Family wishing to attend the cinema together will be expected to socially distance. Individuals should not be sat directly next to anyone who is not within the same household or social bubble.
If you wish to make a booking for 3+ seats together, please contact our Box Office directly on 01403 750220 and our friendly staff will be able to allocate seats for you. Our Box Office will open Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 8pm, Saturday 12.30pm to 8pm and Sunday 12.30pm to 5pm.
All customers entering the venue will be required to provide their full name and contact details as part of the Test and Trace programme. This is to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff.
